At Kompan, we are looking for a new member to join our Product Engineering team who enjoys design work and would find fulfillment in developing playground equipment. When collaborating on the development of exclusive playgrounds, you will communicate daily with team members in Brno and Denmark, so it is essential that you can communicate in English. What can you expect from us?

• Performing strength calculations and static analyses
• Designing and optimizing steel, wooden, and rope structures for playgrounds and designing their foundations
• Working closely with designers, including providing support during the design, development, and construction of new play structures
• Work in RFEM and Ansys is supplemented by analytical calculations
• Preparation of technical reports and their presentation
• Cooperation with suppliers and other departments in the production of prototypes and testing

Are you interested in the job description? What do we require from you?

• University degree with knowledge of structural analysis, preferably from Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering (Structures and Transport Structures)
• Knowledge of structural analysis and relevant structural load standards, design of steel structures, design of wooden structures, and foundation design
• Knowledge of RFEM/RSTAB, Scia, Ansys, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of creating 2D drawings and 3D designs is an advantage
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, materials, and their impact on design and production
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills with the ability to work effectively in a 12-member team
• Communicative level of English
